How to change custom post type slug in Arc-WP

As default when you click on a portfolio item you will see a url like the following on your browser’s address bar;

www.my-website.com/arc_project/project-item-5/

and when you click on a category, link look like the following;

http://arc-wp.wp4life.com/?taggallery=myprojectcategory

If you want to change “arc_project” with another word (for example; “portfolio”);

1) Go to Appearance->Editor

2) Open “project_post_type.php” file and change the following line of code;

'rewrite' => true,

with the following code, like on the following screenshot;

'rewrite' => array('slug' => 'portfolio'),

3) Go to Settings->Permalinks and click “Save Changes” button (You can also change permalink structure. For example “Post Name”).

If you want to change “tag-gallery” with another word (for example; “portfolio-tags”);

1) Go to Appearance->Editor

2) Open “project_post_type.php” file and change the following line of code;

'rewrite' => array( 'slug' => 'tag-gallery' ),

with the following code, like on the following screenshot;

'rewrite' => array( 'slug' => 'portfolio-gallery' ),

3) Go to Settings->Permalinks and click “Save Changes” button (You can also change permalink structure. For example “Post Name”).

Important: Be careful and don’t change any other thing…

Note: If your Settings->Permalinks->Common settings is “default” , you can’t use this feature.
